5. A hit batter will NOT be awarded first base if hit by a pitch. It will be a dead ball and no strike or ball will be counted.

  (A) If a coach is struck by a hitball there will be no advancement. (No pitch, no advancement)

6. The batter will receive 5 pitches or 3 swinging strikes. If batter does not hit within 5 pitches, they are out. Foul ball on 5th pitch allows batter another pitch, unless ball is caught.

7. Time is called by the umpire when the lead runner is stopped by a defensive player. A lead runner is stopped if they are on base and making no attempt at advancing and the ball is in the infield.  The umpire will place any base runners behind the lead runner based on the half way lines.

8. No steals will be allowed.

9. No player may lead off the base.

10. There is a maximum of 5 runs per inning until the 6th, which is unlimited.

11. 10 run rule is in effect after the 4th inning.

12. Game time will be 1 hour and 30 minutes. Umpire will announce last inning after 1 hour and 15 minutess from the start of game play.

13. Coin flip will determine Home/Visitor for round robin play.

14. Higher seed will be Home team in tournament until championship game, which will be coin flip.

15. Home team will keep official book, visitor will be responsible for running the scoreboard.

16. Tie breakers shall be invoked in the following order:

a. Head-to-head or
b. defensive runs allowed or
c. offensive runs scored or
d. coin flip

17. No cursing or swearing by players, coaches, or spectators will be tolerated.

18. Use of tobacco products on the field is not allowed.

19. Umpire decisions are final.

20. Tournament director’s decision is final.
